Cali Girl in NYC

I've lived in California for 24 years, and decided to move clear across the country for law school. this will be where all can come to laugh at me as i die in the humidity and freeze in the snow as my california body adjusts to life in new york city...through this blog, i hope to have everyone else suffer just a little with me as i make my way through law school

one down....

i've never felt more exhausted than i did last night/this morning....you really dont realize how much energy it takes to throw yourself into constant studying and stressing, and then to have a crazy adrenaline rush for three and a half hours....im just a wreak!

so. contracts. i feel like i did decently, but at the same time, who really knows? alex and i spent the morning figuring out the curve in the class, and the only positive thing is that the majority of students (65%) will get a B. that's also kinda negative, though, because it's better to stand ABOVE teh majority. but, honestly, give me that B and i will be THRILLED at this point.

its always stressful to talk about an exam once its finished, because people say things that they did that you didnt do, but you cant go back and edit! so, talking to all my friends about one question, they all put something, but i didnt even realize it, but i talked about something else, so it might be okay. or talking to another friend who put the complete OPPOSITE of what teh majority of the people put...you just never know! and we dont know how the teacher is going to grade!

oh goodness! if you all think my spelling/typing is bad here on my blog ("teh") you shouldve seen my typing on the exam!!! i did it on the computer using a special Word program that locks your computer so you cant open any other applications (to bar people from looking stuff up on the internet). it is basically MS Word, with a few slight differences. for example, there is no friggin spell check! so, when im typing a paper i rely on spell check to catch my mistakes. couple that with being on a time limit and having an insane amount of information to add in, my typing is just crazy! i went back and read a couple of sentences, and you could get the jist of what i meant, the words just werent really in a cohesive order...mitsake, conisderation, etc ("mistake" "consideration").

but its done. and now i have to rally and start cramming for civ pro. but im exhausted and i just cant seem to get into it yet....maybe in another hour after i have some lunch...

ill be home in a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
