does anyone even bother to read this anymore?

im busy! geez...ive got two jobs and full-time school and nothing at all to talk about...
but! this is still a fun way for me to share things i find while surfing the net!!

this is the cutest thing ever! so, this kitten's mom's name is....Dot!! i kid you not. (teehee, i rhymed)

Decorating Advice

Here's the deal:
my front door is kinda crappy. first of all, it doesnt really fit the frame, so there are gaps down around near the bottom. Also, it is a hallow door. I have been trying to figure out a way to block some of the noise that comes in from the hallway, and my initial attempt was to hang all of my coats on the back of the door.
So, i drilled some holes, and put up a few hooks, and that worked for about 5 months. now, the hooks keep falling out because they arent anchored in anything. the inside part of the door is probably only half an inch thick, before it gets to about two inches of empty space, then the other side of the door. i have even tried using the little plastic anchors that go around the screw to try and keep the hook in the door. doesnt work. the coats are too heavy.
so, my next thought is to hang some kind of thick drape or something on the back of the door to muffle sound, but i dont want it to look tacky. also, now i dont know where else to put my coats...it really was the best idea!
so, if anyone has any thoughts please let me know. (for the haines that read this, maybe you could mention it to joyce--she always has decorating ideas!!)
